Counterfeit / Fake / Parallel Imported LiLash

Beware of fake and counterfeit product.  It is a cosmetic industry and global problem and in recent years the range of goods subject to infringement has increased significantly.
Customers think they are getting a good deal but they can actually be getting a fake, counterfeit or parallel imported product. Many of these fake or counterfeit products are sold through online market places like fishpond, trademe, or eBay. We do not allow genuine LiLash and LiBrow to be sold on these sites. 
Not only will fake product not work, it can also be harmful to people.  Always purchase cosmetics from a reputable source, someone who stands behind what they sell.
By purchasing fake or cheap imitated product, you could end up with a bad reaction.  As the product is applied to the skin on the eyelid, it is very important to know where you product is coming from.

Old Stock Parallel Imports

Beware of out of date parallel imported product.  Many travelling sales and expo's will offer 'amazing' discounts for products, however they may be out of date and no longer effective.  We don't know where this product has come from and how long it has been around.  LiLash, as with many cosmetics has a shelf life.  Customers may think they are getting a bargain but unfortunately are not.

Counterfeit products are fake replicas of the real product (AKA knockoffs). Counterfeit products are often produced with the intent to take advantage of the superior value of the imitated product.

You will know you are getting authentic LiLash from an authorised stockist when you either purchase from a stockist on our website, contact us or know from the packaging as described below.

Real vs Fake LiLash 

  • Authentic LiLash is referred to as 'Purified Eyelash Serum' NOT 'Purified Eyelash Stimulator'
  • Authentic product will also have a the LiLash logo hologram on the side 
  • The print on the fake is blurry
  • Authentic LiLash/LiBrow is sealed.  Both the tube and the box are sealed with cellophane.
  • Generic barcodes are also prevalent
